I mainly write for a few bands that I’m attached to. Dimami has truly been my working band for a long time. But I also composed for HOT (Het Orgel Trio) and De Bende van Drie. In 2002 the piece Nearby Distances (Dimami, Rugby ) was used in the Dutch movie ‘Lulu’.
My main goal in composing is to find a combination of meaningful (written) notes and powerful forms to improvise on.
